Established in Woodend in 1974, Barker Trailers now manufactures from two Victorian plants in Woodend and Maryborough, with total factory size of over 30,000 square metres.
Brothers and skilled tradesmen, Ernie, and Arthur Barker, manufactured the first custom Barker Trailer in 1974. What began from very humble beginnings evolved in to a business with near 200 employees operating from production facilities in Woodend and Maryborough, manufacturing world-class semi-trailers and providing customers with transport outcomes based on operational efficiency and uptime.
The Victorian based family business of over 44 years, cites founders, Ernie and Arthur’s craft of building high quality trailers matched directly to customer requirements as the foundations of the company’s continued success.
